The Fiorano Services and Security Manager is a set of integrated tools to manage the security attributes of distributed Services running across the extended enterprise.
The Fiorano Security tools implement role-based security, allowing administrators multiple roles to be set for any user. The tools allow information to be read from standard locations including LDAP, the Windows Domain controller and Unix Realms. In addition, Services tools allow developers to create new services using plugins for a variety of IDEs and to register existing and new services into the Fiorano Enterprise Server repository; tools are also provided to allow administrators to modify the properties, including version numbers and deployment descriptors, of existing services in the repository. |
